Wang Yang

With the “Memories” series, Wang Yang tells a story, allowing a memory to embody a simple garment, suggesting a conceptual meaning to what would be a still life. The artist chooses subjects such as police and military uniforms which seem to capture the air of the era with a remarkable sense of elegance.

Wang Yang is a visual artist, member of The Survivor Group who graduated at the CAFA and has several gallery and museum exhibitions under his belt, including a group show at the Eli & Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University. Works produced by the artist are highly collectable, as the artist is fully engaged with 2 collectives.
